The company formed around 1985 when I started installing interior trim work on new construction homes for a contractor in the Charleston area. I had already worked for a couple of construction companies doing punchlist work and building decks. My first project was installing interior door, window, base, and crown molding in about eighty units, built out on the beach community on the Isle of Palms. I also was involved with also some retrofit work on older homes in the down-town and Battery area of the city. Eventually I found myself working for home owners, realtor's, and rental managers, doing repaints and carpentry repair work. Having worked on homes that are worth millions, I take personal pride in the work performed in all homes

Starting out as a helper for a remodeler in the Charleston, South Carolina area, I quickly learned all facets of the construction and retrofit trade. Painting and roofing kept me busy at first, later moving into rental and apartment maintenance where I learned basic plumbing and electric. And don't forget there were the decks!
With the summer fast approaching, all of the focus is on deck care. I am a Wolman certified Deck Care Specialist, but I do use a variety of products from different manufacturers. Call me and I will give you the best options for your deck. I also build wheelchair ramps, storage sheds and decks.
Common work performed
Painting is still a large portion of my business. While regular one color repaints of living rooms, bedrooms, baths and kitchens, are common, I do get calls for specialty paints. Multi-spec (multi-color), glazing, knockdown/popcorn ceilings, and wallpaper are all part of my services. Remodeling whole bathrooms is one of my specialties. I have done everything from simple toilet replacement to handicapped wheelchair accessible showers and bathrooms.
